Gently spiced with fragrant and mild spices. This chutney makes the perfect accompaniment to smoked chicken and duck breast. A great addition to a smoked chicken Caesar sandwich. Try with a roast butternut squash, rocket and parmesan salad. My husband Michael enjoys this with rollmops!

All the flavours of bygone Cumberland. A pleasing combination of apple and date chutney, with the addition of locally made Jennings Sneck Lifter ale. This chutney is spiced with ginger and mace, and sweetened with Demerara sugar – all ingredients traditionally imported into Cumbrian ports in the 18th Century. A favourite accompaniment to a Ploughman’s lunch.£3.10

Originally made as bespoke chutney for a customer wanting something to accompany a cheese board, its popularity and immediate appeal made it a permanent fixture on our product list. The figs and Armagnac add a luxurious touch. We enjoy this chutney with stinky cheeses – the more stinky the better.

A gently spiced tomato and apple chutney making a delightful accompaniment to serve with mild brie and crackers. My children enjoy this chutney as a dip with corn chips – a great compliment as they regard all chutney with extreme suspicion. Makes a great topping with cream cheese for perfectly toasted focaccia bread. Wonderful on bruschetta, in pasta and used in chicken recipes.£3.10

Red onions slowly caramelised with red wine vinegar for several hours, bringing out the natural sugars from the onions. We enjoy our red onion marmalade with cheese on toast, but it really is good with any savoury dish. It is a vital part of having a barbecue in our house, as it is just so great with barbecued meat and vegetables. Stir a spoonful into your gravy and this will be the easiest onion gravy you’ll ever make!
